Samantha Feinberg directs Project Happiness’ community engagement, online and off. Since joining the team in 2013, Samantha has grown PH’s community to over 2 Million members worldwide who tune in daily for happiness enhancing programs via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and RSS feed. Samantha also co-developed the educational curriculum, leads trainings, and is in charge of building and maintaining strategic partnerships to spread Project Happiness to new communities in over 90 countries, and growing. Samantha graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology. Shortly after graduating, she joined the 2008 Obama campaign mobilizing thousands of volunteers in 5 different states across the country. Following the election she moved to Washington D.C. to work for a political start-up. In 2010 she returned to the Bay Area and to the field of psychology, working in Dr. Carol Dweck’s Social Psychology lab at Stanford and later as a Project Manager in UC Berkeley’s Relationships and Social Cognition Lab. Her interests are in mindfulness, the practical applications of the science of well-being and embodied lifestyle practices, with a particular passion for using the latest in technology to share these teachings with those seeking it in all reaches of the globe.


Samantha regularly attends mindfulness retreats and psychology trainings, and in 2014 was certified as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP). She splits her free time between San Francisco city life and being awed by the natural world in the nearby beach town of Bolinas, CA.
